Use your IT knowledge to advise financial services clients, meet their high expectations, and work on big picture issues.

You’ll be responsible for handling escalations and troubleshooting complex and widespread issues for our financial services-based clients including users on trading floors. Their expectations for resolution times are high, and they expect no downtime during their core business hours. You will be communicating to clients via phone and email, with the occasional visit to site ad-hoc.

You’ll also spend a lot of time on:

  • Infrastructure projects
  • Configuring new services and making changes
  • Providing final point of technical escalation to support teams

The technology you’ll work with includes:

  • Windows Servers
  • Microsoft Exchange
  • Microsoft Office 365
  • Firewalls
  • Managed switches
  • SIP/VOIP phone systems
  • Networking protocols
  • Public cloud, especially Microsoft Azure & AWS

To qualify you’ll need strong experience in a senior IT role, with exposure to a mixture of servers, firewalls, switches, and SIP/VOIP systems. Ideally, we want to see hands-on experience with Azure and AWS, or certifications in either, though it’s not a deal-breaker if you don’t have this.

We can be flexible about whether you are based at our Sittingbourne head office, or our office in Mayfair, depending on what suits you best. Right now, you will be home-based, and training will either be remotely or in our head office, depending on what is safe at the time.
